Post Exchange & Post Completions Assistant – Sidcup

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Post Exchange & Post Completions Assistant to provide support to our Conveyancing team in Sidcup to ensure fee earning targets are met.

Key Tasks

  • Dealing with post exchange correspondence
  • Requesting mortgage funds
  • Setting matters up for completion
  • Obtaining priority searches and carrying out bankruptcy searches
  • Preparation of completion and apportionment statements
  • Dealing with all post completion formalities including Registration, Land Registry Forms, AP1 and FR1 applications
  • Responsible for SDLT returns and discharges
  • Charge Registration applications to Companies House
  • Service of all appropriate notices and obtaining certificates of compliance and dealing with
    share transfer for leasehold and managed property
  • Promptly addressing Requisitions and keeping lenders updated on registration delays
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and estate agents by email and telephone
  • Updating online lender platforms (LMS and Lender Exchange)
  • Ensuring all correspondence and documents are accurately filed in a case management system
  • General office duties including dealing with post and scanning

About You

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a residential conveyancing department
  • Conscientious, self-driven and a quick learner
  • Well organised and excellent administrative and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Excellent IT skills – capable of using the firm’s case management system and working in a paperless office

Terms

Location: Sidcup, Kent (office-based) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm
