Maria parker

Managing Partner

Maria is the Managing Partner for Burtons. She covers all Private Client departments to include:  Commercial and Residential Property Conveyancing, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Estate Management, Probate, Administration of Trusts, Court of Protection and Family Law.  

When she is not busy running all three offices, she dedicates her spare time to her family.  

Daniel Latto

Partner

Daniel is our  youngest Partner at Burtons. He has a wealth of experience in residential conveyancing and having lived in the local area all his life, is well acquainted with some of the quirks the local area raises when dealing with a sale or purchase. He also assists Maria with Wills & Probate. 

When he is not working, he spends his time helping out at a local scout group. He is a qualified archery instructor and loves to travel with Switzerland and Argentina being his personal highlights.

TARA ALDRICH

PARTNER

Tara is our newest Partner as a qualified Licensed Conveyancer with over 20 years’ experience. She heads the Conveyancing department for Burtons and combines her knowledge with mentoring skills to support all Conveyancing staff. She advises on and undertakes conveyancing transactions in all areas of property law to include landlord and tenant law.

Most of her social time is spent with her family as a proud mother of two beautiful girls. She loves fulfilling her role as cake maker, arts & crafts co-ordinator, walking and cycling coach and when she has time for herself, she loves music and going to support her favourite bands and artists.

CAROLE WILMOT

FAMILY legal executive

Carole Is our Family Legal Executive with 28 years’ experience and is currently heading up a new family department at Burtons. She works almost exclusively in Family law to include; divorce, financial matters, matters concerning children and unmarried couples in respect of property disputes. She is fully aware of how sensitive and difficult these things can be and offers a sensitive, personable approach for every step of the way.

She has lived in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages for many years and enjoys supporting her local community, visiting heritage sites, watching rugby, anything to do with the natural world and the Arts.

JULIE HULYER

SENIOR CONVEYANCER

Julie is our Conveyancing  Manager, specialising in residential property transactions, including leasehold and shared ownership. She has over 20 years’ experience and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

She is a mother of two beautiful little boys who take up most of her time, but she always finds the time for a good film and follows the ups and downs of her local football team.

NOEL MARTIN

Conveyancing Executive

Noel is our Conveyancing Executive specialising in Residential & Commercial Property. He deals and advises on a wide variety of areas, including Freehold and Leasehold Sales, Purchases and Remortgages and various other aspects of Property Law.

In his spare time, he enjoys football, tennis and keeping active at the gym and training in Thai Boxing. 

Dawn Pocklington

Practice Manager

Dawn is our Practice Manager ensuring the smooth running of the business, including HR, compliance, advertising and marketing. Liaising with local businesses and charities. Arranging seminars and events for all staff including training platforms and supporting Maria Parker with her case load on a daily basis.

She is a mother of two beautiful boys and in her free time she loves walking with her dogs, creating various craft projects or reading a good book.

ALAN COLLINS

WILLS & PROBATE EXECUTIVE

 Alan is our Wills & Probabte Executive with 8 years experience assisting with the the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection and Estate Aministration.

He is a keen student of languages, currently learning Spanish and Catalan and can also be found at Priestfield Stadium cheering on the Gills.

Jenny SPARKS

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Jenny has over 25 years’ experience in the legal profession and is Assistant to Tara, Daniel and Julie within the Conveyancing Department. Her role is to ensure that her colleagues have everything they need on the administrative side, reports, attendance notes, opening files, sending quotes to clients and liaising with those clients to ensure the smooth running of the process.

When she is not working hard for Burtons she lavishes love on her two feline children, going for long walks and listening to music.  

Tamara Groom

Receptionist

Tamara is the first port of call for Burtons as our Receptionist. Her job is to answer your call and direct you to the relevant staff member. She is also being trained on the administrative side of conveyancing to assist Noel Martin. This will involve sending out quotes, collating all documentation and assisting Noel with his case load.

When she is not working hard for us, she enjoys reading thriller books and creating art, whether its wearable or on canvas.
